    Alexandra is a good observer: looking at patterns in nature, colours and shapes, human behavior and social needs. She observes and figures out what people need.

    Highly empathetic, Alexandra is using a human-centered approach to her projects, always keeping an eye on her footprint along the way.

    With a background in Industrial Design and working experience in various facets of the Design Industry, Alexandra is an all-round creative force with an exceptional eye for detail and a desire to make the world a better place, one product at a time.

    Edrolo is an Australian EdTech with the mission to improve education. As part of the Multimedia Production Team, I've been in charge of the development and production of the Legal Studies textbooks, as well as the production of digital content of their entire offer of products.

    One page website introducing the new line of high impact protection equipment for Cricket and Rugby.

    Brand Identity

    Nut Huggerz, Swimwear company (Melbourne, Australia)

    The Australian brand was founded by two watersports athletes and needed to reunite their essential elements under one brand: a fun, cheeky attitude + watersports + Australian made.

    With a focus on sustainability and protecting the ocean, the NutHuggerz use recycled polyester made from ocean plastic.

    The branding services provided include the design of the first 6 brief styles with playful prints as well as an outline of their Marketing and Brand Strategy consisting of four campaigns for the next 12 months.

    The rebranding of 7 Concepts started with a modern, user-friendly website with a clean design. The work included producing visual content through product photography, retouching, graphic design, and video editing.

    Design of new business cards following the new branding guidelines: clean, modern design with a human touch. The business cards have the picture of the person they are representing, helping people to "put a face on that name".

    Created in line with the newly-designed Branding Guidelines, the exhibition booth in Paris presented the company in a clear and professional way. Thanks to its consistent communication alongside print and online, the company signed important clients.

    Logo design for an alliance of Australian companies reunited under the same name.

    The design services include web design supervision in line with the branding guidelines, and stand communication design for the Adelaide Land Forces convention in September 2018.

    Specialised in drone photography in the beautiful lands of Danube Delta, Romania, Aero Delta's logo reunites the elements of air, water and land into a delta-shaped camera aperture.

    A good design is born out of a deep study of what is around us: people, nature, economy.

    A good designer is looking at all of that and comes up with an answer fit for his specific audience.

     

    The Product Design work below includes Digital Product Design as well as traditional Product Design.

    Both follow the same user-centered research methods.

    Design thinking: Lookaround App

    Mission: Encourage millennials to be more aware of their surroundings while using their phones

    During an 11-week program, the team used Design Thinking practices to find the solution for a wicket problem. The LOOKAROUND app offers an integrative solution for today's social alienation and physical absent-mindedness of our younger generation by inspiring them to engage and combine on-screen time with acknowledging their surroundings.

    A Day At The Beach

    Mission: WEB + STORYTELLING

    The project involves storytelling through web environments. In order to do so, I've designed a one-page long scroll website that unfolds the story of pollution through the lens of a supposedly relaxing day at the beach. Scrolling down the page allows various items to pop up, touching current real-world issues.

    TRIpack has your back!

     

    This product was created for Generation Y, born into this fast-paced world of technology.
    Exhibited at 'Diploma' expo during Romanian Design Week 2014.

    TRIpack App

    Mission: Social + Conversations + Nature

    TRIpack App gives you the chance to plan your route, track your progress and check out tips from other users in your area. The security feature of SOS alarm gives you the opportunity to be found much faster by other hikers or the rescue team, by sending your exact location.

     

    The social feature of this App gives extra security points by creating a community of hikers that can share tips or signal dangers on the map.

    Atm∞

    Mission: Water Crisis + Chad

    The future of our planet will bring many challenges, and one of those will be a lack of clean water.

    Atmoo was designed having in mind the water crisis from Chad, where desertification brought drought and people lack clean water for drinking.

    The concept behind this project is that by using a thermal shock, the water from the air can be forced to condensate, thus providing clean, drinking water. The resulted water is collected in a tank shaped like the traditional clay urns, by re-purposing available resources and skills.

    CarBed

    Mission: homelessness + Recycling

    The concept behind CarBed is that Design should address everybody, including those without a good financial situation. Combining a social problem with an ecologic one - the problem of waste - I decided to design affordable furniture with a low impact on the environment. Every piece uses recuperated cardboard and needs no glues of any kind.
